IRB Spring Deadlines for Research Involving Human Subjects

| February 13, 2015

Does your research at Webster University involve human subjects? Applications for human research are reviewed by the Institutional Review Board (IRB) on a first-come, first-served basis during each school term. To make the process more efficient and provide timely feedback for faculty, students and staff, the following deadlines have been set for the Spring 2015:

  • Spring 1 deadline: Feb. 13, 2015
  • Spring semester and Spring 2 deadline: April 17, 2015

Applications that do not meet the deadline may not be reviewed until the next term.

Please note that submitted proposals may require modifications prior to approval, which can lengthen the review process.

New research submissions that require the full board review must submit a completed proposal at least 2 weeks before the next meeting date in order to be included on the agenda.

The Spring 2015 meeting dates for the full board review are: Feb. 20, March 6, March 20, April 3 and April 17.

Refer to the IRB website www.webster.edu/irb for additional information about completing the application. Applications are to be submitted to Lisa Muex Sisson at irb@webster.edu. For questions, contact IRB at irb@webster.edu.
