Webster University Thailand welcomed international school counselors from Southeast Asia and beyond at the International Counselor Workshop 2015 at both locations in Thailand Jan. 26-28. The workshop, held at Bangkok Academic Center and the Cha-Am/Hua Hin campus, brought a variety of school counselors in to learn about Webster University, the learning and professional opportunities it provides to students and to meet faculty and staff.

Counselors from schools throughout southeast Asia visited the Thailand campuses to learn more about Webster and share their students’ experiences.

The International Counselor Workshop included sessions in a variety of topics such as Teaching and Learning, Student Life and Housing, Admissions and Aid and Webster International Campuses.

“They are really engaged with student learning,” said one counselor from a school in Cambodia. “They are really engaged in equipping our students with what they need to be competitive global citizens.”

“You see on campus so many students from so many different walks of life,” said another. “It provides a network of all of these different international perspectives students wouldn’t otherwise have.”
