Stratman Named New Director in Rolla

The Office of Academic Affairs welcomes Gregory Stratman as director of the Rolla, Missouri, campus. He brings a wealth of experience to the position that includes leadership at all levels of academia.

Stratman comes to Webster from Columbia College, where he served as director and oversaw operations that led to revenue growth of 70 percent in five years. He has also served in faculty and administrative positions at the University of Missouri-Rolla.

“Webster University is fortunate to have Greg Stratman as our new director at the Rolla campus,” said Carol Adams, associate vice president for Academic Affairs. “He is a well-respected community leader in the area who will immediately raise our visibility and stature in Rolla.”

Stratman’s community involvement includes director of the Rolla Board of Education, chair of the ambassadors for the Rolla Chamber of Commerce, and  chairman for the Rolla Area United Way, as well as membership in several other local organizations.

Stratman holds a PhD in English Language/Linguistics from the University of Missouri-Columbia.

“I am happy to be with Webster’s Rolla Campus and look forward to the challenges of growing this campus to its fullest potential,” he said.
