Teaching Festival Preview: Showcasing Video Classrooms Feb. 19

| February 5, 2015

You may have heard about Webster’s new “video classrooms” providing the opportunity to connect students on a growing list of campuses. This year’s Teaching Festival, which runs Feb. 16-20, can help show you how to take advantage of this technology.

In the “Showcasing Video Classrooms” session on Feb. 19 at 10 a.m., a panel of faculty innovators will explore the capabilities of these rooms. By sharing thoughts about how these rooms can be used, both by panelists and attendees, attendees will be better prepared to think about and plan for this exciting new medium for teaching and learning.

This session will include an overview of this initiative by Ken Freeman, vice president and chief information officer, and Marty Martin, director of Media and Academic Technology Services (MATS). Attendees will have time for discussion and questions.
