Join your colleagues for a day of new ideas, best practices, inspiration, thoughtful dialogue and professional growth at the Webster Staff Alliance (WSA) Professional Development Day on March 12.

Call for Proposals

Proposals are due by Friday, Feb. 20. [Note: The Feb. 20 deadline is an extension from the original date.] There is no particular theme this year, however employees are encouraged to submit a proposal in the areas/topics they feel would contribute to the personal and professional development of Webster staff. We are excited to see a variety of topics that would be relevant to many interests.

Keynote Speaker

The keynote speaker will be Judge Jimmie Edwards, adjunct faculty member of Legal Studies in Webster University’s College of Arts & Sciences. Edwards, who teaches constitutional law and juvenile law courses at Webster, received the 2013 William H. Rehnquist Award for Judicial Excellence by the National Center for State Courts, one of the most prestigious honors that can be bestowed on American judges. He was also a recipient of People Magazines’ “Hero of the Year” Award in 2011.
