Public Safety to Invoice Authorized Drivers Fee to Departments

Effective immediately, departments with individuals assigned as “authorized drivers” of University vehicles will be invoiced $15 per driver. The fee is not retroactive and will only apply to individuals from this date forward. This fee reflects the cost incurred by Public Safety to run the driver’s license checks. While the fee to run a license check varies by state, $15 is the national average.
