New Information Technology Service Management Tool

Changes are coming to the way you interact with Webster Information Technology. In late February, IT is replacing the current work order system with a fully featured service management solution called Cherwell.

New IT Features

You will still be able to visit the same links to place an incident or request to IT, but you will also be able to experience additional features, such as:

  • See any outages and information on known problems
  • View announcements
  • Look up the status of open requests

An informational town hall session will be held in late January to demonstrate some of the new functionality and answer any questions you may have about the new system. Any questions can be directed to the Cherwell project manager, Kristi Lenz, evansk@webster.edu.
