Men’s Soccer: Wells Named to NSCAA 2014 NCAA III All-Central Region Team

Mike Wells, a forward for the Webster University men’s soccer team, was voted to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America’s (NSCAA) 2014 NCAA III All-Central Region Team. Wells was a Third Team selection.

Wells was named the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) 2014 Offensive Player of the Year. Wells was tied for third in the SLIAC with 24 points, and tied for second with 10 assists. He led the SLIAC with four game-winning goals.

He finished up at Webster with 21 goals, 14 assists, 57 points, and nine game-winning goals. He is tied for second in game-winning goals, sixth in goals, and seventh in both points and assists, on Webster’s all-time career high list.  Wells was named SLIAC All-Conference all of his three years at Webster, being named to the First Team in 2014 and 2012, and to the Second Team in 2013.
