Snapshots: No Shortage of Creativity at Graphic Design Student Showcase

Webster University Graphic Design students presented their digital and print portfolios on Nov. 21 in the Library Conference Room at the Department of Art, Design, and Art History’s (DADAH) Graphic Design Showcase. Local designers, art directors and human resources representatives with an interest in design were on hand to critique their work and field questions. Faculty members, staff and other Webster students were also in attendance.

This opportunity allowed students to network with local professionals and as receive feedback on their design work from experts in the field. The ten students featured in the showcase are BFA Studio Art emphasis in Graphic Design seniors. Presenting their most recent digital and print portfolios were Alma Beganovic, James Butler, Daniel Frumhoff, Katie NealLoren Nemetz, Lucy OsborneJohnny Pelhank, Claire Ryterski, Rebecca Sachtleben and Ashley Villarreal.

The showcase was sponsored by consumer marketing agency GROUP360 Worldwide. Judging all the portfolios was GROUP360 senior vice president and executive creative director Allan Meyerson. The GROUP360 Creative Excellence Award was presented to Daniel Frumhoff.

Webster community members took advantage of the opportunity to meet the Graphic Design students and ask questions about their design work.
