Last Week for Annual Benefits Enrollment; Choose by Nov. 23

Human Resources Open Enrollment

MyWebster benefits portal

Benefits enrollment ends Sunday, Nov. 23.  Since the benefits enrollment started last Monday, nearly 40 percent of benefit eligible employees have already enrolled and over 50 percent have accessed their online enrollment.

For benefits-eligible employees yet to enroll, you will need to make an active choice by Nov. 23 on most benefits to elect or decline coverage in our online benefits portal at My Webster/Benefits/Health & Welfare.

CAUTION: If you do not actively enroll online (even to decline coverage), then you will receive our default coverage. The Affordable Care Act requires us to select a default medical plan since everyone is required to have medical coverage in the U.S. For Webster, this plan is the High Deductible Health Plan. For other benefits such as dental and vision, you may lose coverage that you previously had, though you will retain previous elected coverage for the life and disability plans. So, act now and make your choice known!

Final Information Meetings

Monday, Nov. 17, at noon is our final “Deep-Dive” meeting with UHC and Optum Bank. The meeting is available on-site in EAB 232 and remote via WebEx at https://websteru.webex.com/websteru (password: 2015Benefits). To access the audio, dial 1-888-337-0215 (passcode 4171229#).

Benefit Open Hours are all day this Tuesday, Thursday and Friday in the Human Resources Office. You can visit any time, make an appointment or call.  Email: benefits@webster.edu or 314-246-5012.
