Strange Connections: The 2015 Webster University Sustainability Conference is March 27-28, emphasizing the diverse parties that come together in the name of sustainability.

Mark your calendars for the 2015 Webster University Sustainability Conference. With a theme of “Strange Connections: Innovation for Sustainability,” this year’s conference will emphasize the diverse parties and innovations that can come together in the name of sustainability.

The conference will take place Friday and Saturday, March 27-28,  in the East Academic Building and Community Music School at the home campus in Webster Groves, Missouri.

Conference Highlights

Theme: Strange Connections: Innovation for Sustainability

Keynote Speaker: Mark “Puck” Mykleby, co-director at Strategic Innovation Lab, Case Western Reserve University, and a retired U.S. Marine colonel. Mykleby is co-author of “A National Strategic Narrative.” He will present his vision of a sustainable future for the nation.

Display: A Tesla Motors premium electric vehicle will be on display during the conference.

Panels, Speakers, Poster Presentations: Additional speakers and panel participants will be selected around the conference theme, including student and poster presentation submissions. Check the Sustainability Conference section of the website for updates when the call for submissions is distributed.
