Coverage of Webster Vienna’s grand opening in the publication, Österreich.

The grand opening for the relocation of Webster Vienna to the Palais Wenkheim drew Austrian media coverage:

The newspaper Kurier focused on the academic programs and services available to students in the new location, and the reasons students come from 70 different countries to study at the campus, known in Austria officially as Webster Vienna Private University.

Students appreciate the personal faculty attention and the mix of practice and theory in Webster’s smaller classroom settings. Rudolf Suchodolski-Schneider is quoted in German saying he appreciates how he “isn’t just a number” at Webster. Fellow student Gergana Manolova, who comes from Bulgaria, says “When I see how my friends study, then I truly know what I have at Webster University.”

The newspaper Österreich ran several photos of the opening event in its society pages. President Beth Stroble is pictured along with members of the advisory board — panelists who spoke with her and Provost Julian Schuster at the opening — and other recognized faces from Vienna who attended the festivities.
