BJ Novak from ‘The Office’ to Perform at Webster Nov. 3

BJ Novak is a writer, actor, and a comedian best known for his work on NBC’s Emmy Award winning show “The Office.”

BJ Novak, writer and co-executive producer of “The Office,” comes to Webster University to perform a stand-up show Nov. 3 in the Loretto Hilton Center. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m., with the show beginning at 7:30 p.m.

Novak’s show is sponsored by Campus Activities and the Student Activity Fee. Current Webster University students can pick up one free ticket at the University Center Information Desk with a valid Webster ID. Public admission is $20 and faculty, staff, and alumni are $10. Faculty, staff, and alumni have a limit of two ticket purchases for the price of $10 each.

About BJ Novak

BJ Novak is a writer, actor and a comedian best known for his work on NBC’s Emmy Award winning show “The Office.” In addition to starring as Ryan, Novak is a co-executive producer for the series and has written many of the show’s most memorable episodes, including “Diversity Day,” “Sexual Harassment,” “The Fire,” “Initiation,” “Safety Training,” “Local Ad,” and “Happy Hour.” As a stand-up comedian, Novak was named one of Variety‘s “Ten Comics To Watch” in 2004 and has since performed on Comedy Central, “Late Night with Conan O’ Brien,” and has headlined numerous colleges, theaters, and comedy clubs in recent years including sold-out runs at Caroline’s on Broadway and the Hollywood Improv in Los Angeles. He is also a regular at the Comedy Death Ray stand up show at the UCB Theater in Los Angeles. In November 2008, his show “B.J. Novak & Friends” at Town Hall served as the closing night of the New York Comedy Festival.
