Connect with Employers in Career/Internship Fair Oct. 7, Virtual Expo Oct. 9

Webster University is the site of two unique upcoming career fairs that help connect students and alumni with potential employers.

Oct. 7: Career & Internship Fair in St. Louis

The Career Planning & Development Center will host local and national organizations on Tuesday, Oct. 7, for its annual Career & Internship Fair. The Career & Internship Fair is a unique opportunity for Webster students to connect in person with a diverse array of employers, from corporations to nonprofits, for internships, volunteer and full-time positions.

The fair will take place from 1 to 3:30 p.m. in the University Center Grant Gymnasium on the Webster Groves campus. Here are a few of the organizations that attended last year’s event:  Emerson, Maritz, Enterprise, Peace Corps, SSM, Momentum and Teach for America.

All Webster University students and alumni are invited to attend. Professional attire is strongly recommended.

Oct. 9: Global Online Career and Internship Expo for Worldwide Participants

That same week, all students and alumni are invited to participate in the Global Online Career and Internship Expo on Oct. 9. Unlike a traditional job fair, for this fair participants don’t have to put on their interview suits in order to get their résumés in the hands of recruiters. Instead, they will interact with corporate recruiters in a virtual environment via web chat.

Webster’s Global Online Career and Internship Expo is open to students and alumni from all majors and areas. In order to participate in the expo, students and alumni must  register via They can also upload résumés for companies to review.
