Along with the booths, the Wellness fair featured lots of activities including blending smoothies with a bike, a humor survey, and back massages.

Students, faculty and staff came together for a wonderful turnout to Grant Gymnasium for the 3rd annual Webster Wellness Fair on Sept. 17.

From 11 a.m.- 1 p.m., the gym was filled with Webster University community members of all ages exploring new ways to live and be well. With over 40 vendors operating different booths, the attendees had lots of information and activities to keep them busy. Each half hour, attendance prizes were given away that included: a Fitbit, first-aid kits, 30-minute massages and much more.

Webster Wellness Committee organizers called the fair an overall success, providing students, faculty and staff members with much information, prizes, and most importantly, a healthy outlook.

About the Vendors

Each vendor advocated for a different health, fitness, or wellness organization. Some booths offered educational and informational pamphlets, while others featured incentives like free trial gym memberships and samples of health food and smoothies.

Special events coordinator Heather Arora manned a Webster Works Worldwide booth, reminding everyone to sign up for Webster Works Worldwide 20 (have you signed up?) on Oct. 1, Webster’s annual community service day that is the epitome of “community wellness.”

A sampling of some of the participating vendors:
