Akande Discusses Upswing in Economy on Fox 2

Benjamin Akande, dean of the George Herbert Walker School of Business & Technology, discussed the state of the economy in a one-on-one interview with St. Louis’ Fox 2 News. During the interview, he cited various factors as evidence that the economy is on the upswing.

Separately, Akande was recently named to the board of directors of Enterprise Bank & Trust, the banking subsidiary of Enterprise Financial Services Corp.

Alumna Patricia McKissack on SOE Advisory Board, Featured in Post-Dispatch

The School of Education is proud to have Patricia McKissack on its School of Education Advisory Board.  She is a former recipient of the The alumna is a former Outstanding Alumni Award winner and an internationally acclaimed children’s book author.

McElyea, Wellness Marathon Winner, Inspired by Daughter

Brian McElyea, faculty member and faculty coordinator for the Jacksonville Metropolitan campus location, was featured in Clay County Today about how he has transformed his fitness goals with inspiration from his daughter, Brienna. The two will complete his first-ever triathlon together. McElyea was one of the winners of the recent Webster Wellness Mile by Mile Marathon.
