How to Rent Spaces in the University Center

The University Center at 175 Edgar Road in Webster Groves on the home campus of Webster University offers several spaces for meetings and events, and there is a 50 percent discount off of the hourly rate for current students, faculty, and staff who wish to have a private rental.

Please note that we will be instituting a minor price increase beginning July 1, 2014.

Rental Rates (effective July 1, 2014):

  • Sunnen Lounge (capacity* 120): $90.00/hr
  • Presentation Room (capacity* 40): $45.00/hr
  • Conference Room (capacity 17): $45.00/hr
  • Grant Gymnasium (capacity* 800-1500): $165.00/hr
  • Pool: $80.00/hr plus lifeguards
  • Commons: $65.00/hr**
  • Athletics Lobby: $65.00/hr**

*Capacity is based on room setups that do not include the use of tables.
**These areas rent for an $80.00 flat rate when rented in conjunction with Sunnen Lounge or Grant Gym.

Any non-athletic events in the gym require the floor cover, which includes a fee of $75/use.

You have three options by which you can determine if a room is available on your preferred date and time:

  2. You can call the University Center Information Desk at 314-246-7105 and speak with the Student Building Manager about available dates and times.
  3. You can email your full contact information and event details to ucreserve@webster.edu to determine available dates and times and to request a reservation.
