Webster Management BA Added to USAF Air University Associate-to-Bachelor Cooperative

Webster University’s Office of Military Affairs has announced the inclusion of the Bachelor of Arts in Management undergraduate degree completion program in the U.S. Air Force’s Air University Associate to Bachelor Cooperative (AU-ABC) program. For airmen who have earned their Associate of Applied Science degree through Community College of the Air Force (CCAF), the AU-ABC Program provides an opportunity to continue their education in an undergraduate degree program with a BA in Management.

“After much work by many, the Office of Military Affairs was notified our online undergraduate completion degree in Management was accepted into the this prestigious program,” said Brig. Gen. Mike Callan, USAF (ret.), associate vice president for Military and Governmental Programs. “This now allows primarily U.S. Air Force enlisted airmen to find our degree completion program thru the USAF’s Academic Institution (AI) Portal.”

Michelle Loyet, assistant director of Webster’s Academic Advising Center, worked with Bruce Umbaugh, professor of Philosophy and director of the Global Citizenship Program, to create an understandable and equitable cooperative agreement for students entering through the AU-ABC.

“As a participant with the AU-ABC, Webster University is included in information available to military students holding an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree from the Community College of the Air Force (CCAF),” Loyet explained. “While the BA in Management is first degree we pursued approval for, students can apply their earned degree towards any Webster University undergraduate degree completion program.”
