Taylor Stoulp becomes the sixth ABCA/Rawlings All-American from Webster.

Taylor Stoulp was voted an American Baseball Coaches Association/Rawlings and d3.baseball.com All-American at second base for 2014. Stoulp, a senior from St. Louis, was named to the ABCA/Rawlings Second Team and to the d3baseball.com All-American First Team.

Freshman Matt Wollnik was awarded a 2014 Gold Glove at shortstop by the ABCA/Rawlings, while Joe Winckel earned a d3baseball.com All-American nod also, being named to the Third Team.

Stoulp becomes the sixth ABCA/Rawlings All-American from Webster. This is the third straight year a Gorlok has been named, with Daivd Mueller (2012) and Steve Dooley (2013) being voted to the team the past two seasons. Stoulp was previously named to the 2014 ABCA/Rawlings All-Central Region First Team. He batted .407 this year with 45 runs, 17 doubles, and 44 RBIs, while shining defensively with a .976 fielding percentage in 205 chances.

Freshman Matt Wollnik was awarded a 2014 Gold Glove at shortstop by the ABCA/Rawlings, while Joe Winckel earned a d3baseball.com All-American nod also, being named to the Third Team.

Stoulp and Winckel become the first Gorloks named d3baseball.com All-Americans. Stoulp was named to the First Team at second base. He was also named to the 2014 d3baseball.com All-Central Region First Team. Winckel was a d3baseball.com All-American Third Team choice after being voted to the 2014 d3baseball.com All-Central Region First Team as well. Winckel batted .393, and hit six home runs while driving in a team-high 49 runs for Webster this season.

Webster players Tony Genna (2011) and Andrew Fuiten (2009) were Honorable Mention choices for d3baseball.com previously.

Wollnik becomes the first Gorlok, and the first player from the SLIAC, to earn a Gold Glove from the ABCA/Rawlings. In 223 chances at shortstop, Wollnik had 151 assists and 66 putouts, making only six errors on the season for a .973 fielding percentage. Wollnik started 43 of the Gorloks’ 44 games, and turned 34 double plays.
