| April 22, 2014

Junior tennis player Marissa Lewis was named a St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the third time this spring, joining freshman Jeff Barlow (track and field), junior Isaac Behme (baseball), and freshman Jon Hughes (golf) as SLIAC Player of the Week selections for the week of April 14-20.

Lewis was undefeated for the week. Barlow set a pair of personal records in the discus and shot put.

Hughes tied for fourth in last week’s Rhodes Minimichi Invitational while also tying for the tournament high in eagles.

Behme’s week was marked by a nine-inning, complete-game win over second-place Spalding University, as the baseball Gorloks raised their record to 18-0 in SLIAC and 26-4 overall.
