Health Care Management in Geneva

The Master in Health Care Management has been taught at the Geneva campus since 1989.

With health care policy a continually hot topic in the news, people often think of its implications on the health care management industry in the United States. But did you know Webster University has been educating people in the field in Switzerland for the past 25 years?

The Master in Health Care Management has been offered at Webster University Geneva since 1989. It is the only program taught in French at Webster Geneva. Alumni from this program can be found working for many health care institutes throughout Switzerland.

Pictured here, December graduates of the Health Care Management program proudly display the diplomas they have just received. These students will be among the six from this program who will participate in the graduation ceremony in May.

Fran├žoise Maillard, the head of the program, along with coordinator Maureen Gisiger, currently manage all aspects of this program, which offers a master’s degree and a certificate. The courses are delivered in the form of weekend workshops which take place twice per term.

The HCM program has deep connections with the health care community in Switzerland and is highly regarded. It’s a testament to Webster’s ability to adapt programs to local needs. And, equally, a testament to the hard work of Francoise and Maureen over many years. Well done!
