Men’s Basketball Team Advances to SLIAC Championship Game

The Men’s Basketball team is headed to the SLIAC championship game after defeating MacMurray.

The Webster University men’s basketball team is headed to the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Tournament championship after Thursday’s 79-65 win over MacMurray College in Louisville, Ky.

Webster took the lead early and never relinquished it as the Gorlok starting five overpowered the Highlanders, with four of the five starters hitting double figures.

The Gorloks will play host Spalding University, a 64-54 winner over Westminster College, in the final. The championship game will be played on Saturday, March 1, at 1 p.m. EST. Info on the SLIAC Tournament can be found here.
