Paaige Turner Named School of Communications Associate Dean

Webster University School of Communications dean Eric Rothenbuhler announces that Paaige Turner has been named associate dean of the School of Communications, effective June 1.

Turner is currently a faculty member in communication at Saint Louis University. During her time at Saint Louis University she has held a number of leadership positions, including associate vice president in the Office of Academic Affairs, interim director of the Women’s Studies Program and graduate director in the Department of Communication.

Turner was the past chair for the Organizational Communication Division of the National Communication Association. She was awarded the Fulbright-Nehru International Education Administrators Award to develop international education initiatives with India in 2013.

“We are thrilled to welcome Paaige Turner to the School of Communications,” said Rothenbuhler. “Paaige is a widely published and highly regarded scholar and practitioner in organizational communication, and she impressed everyone with her experience and her knowledge. She will be an excellent addition to the school, and we are excited to begin working with her.”

Turner received her PhD and MS in Communications from Purdue University and earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Oregon.
