President Beth Stroble has announced the launch of a national search for the vice president for Advancement with the assistance of Witt/Kiefer Executive Search. Witt/Kieffer is among the nation’s preeminent executive search firms and foremost in placement of advancement professionals.

A.P. “Bun” Perkinson, who has served as interim chief development officer since July, will be leaving in early February. President Stroble noted, “Bun brought extensive career experience to the leadership of the alumni and development unit and advanced this unit’s contributions to Webster’s mission. For that we are grateful.”

Ruth Lederman, principal at RTR Consulting, LLC and former vice president, director of Development at Jewish Federation of St. Louis, will provide interim leadership as chief development officer while the search progresses. Lederman, a non-profit executive with 24 years of development and management experience, brings a strong track record of personal and organizational results. Lederman starts on Feb. 10.
