Promising undergraduate students gathered for Vienna’s first WebsterLEADS Leadership Certificate Program Kick Off Evening

Last month a select group of Webster University’s most promising undergraduate students at the Vienna campus were invited to Vienna’s first WebsterLEADS Leadership Certificate Program Kick Off Evening. Thirty potential new student leaders were brought to a meet-and-greet in at the residence of Maria-Regina Kecht, Webster Vienna academic director.

The event was organized by Student Affairs coordinator Jutta Pedigo, the supervisor of the Leads program at Webster University Vienna.

Students heard from special guests as well as current student leaders Andriana Ballerin, Sissi Todorova, Allan Castillo, Carolina Bianchi and Peter Susman, who shared their experiences and thoughts on how they apply what they have learned one year into the program.

Elisabeth Cassels-Brown discussed the upcoming leadership course she will be teaching this spring, EDUC2750: The Challenge of Leadership, and was followed by the evening’s guest speaker, Chris Greulich, who gave a motivational talk about leadership and how it can be found on every level of life.
