Employee Wellness Reimbursement Third Quarter Deadline: Oct. 6

Webster University’s Employee Wellness Reimbursement Program provides financial support to faculty and staff on wellness activities that they are initiating for themselves and their family. The deadline for the  third quarter of the Employee Reimbursement is Sunday, Oct. 6.

Webster Wellness introduced the Employee Wellness Reimbursement Program program in January to reimburse employees 50% of the cost of their memberships and/or events that occur each quarter in 2013, not to exceed $150 each quarter through the use of $30,000 in United Healthcare Wellness Credits available only in 2013.

Webster Wellness has paid over $12,000 to employees for their personal and/or their family’s pursuit of wellness.

Program Details

The Webster Wellness 2013 Employee Reimbursement Program is limited to active, full-time Webster University employees and dependents enrolled in United Healthcare. The Reimbursement Program is intended to support individuals in their efforts towards achieving their wellness goals, broadly defined. Funds may be used for health promotion programs/memberships (e.g., Weight Watchers, ClubFitness, YMCA, etc.) as well as for registration fees for health-related events (e.g., marathons, 5K races, Zumba class, etc.). The wellness credits provided by UHC will allow us to support $7,500 in memberships/activities each quarter in 2013.

Program Guidelines

Applications will be accepted and reviewed on a rolling, quarterly basis. Interested employees should submit the required application and materials for memberships/events occurring during Session 3: July 1 – Sept. 30, 2013.
