Webster Wellness Week was a great success. More than 250 students, faculty and staff attended the culminating event, the Webster Wellness Fair on Thursday, Sept 19. At the fair, there was the opportunity to visit with 35 community wellness vendors and internal departments who provided information, instruction and opportunities about pursuing wellness as a lifestyle.

Along with free massages, fitness demonstrations, attendance prizes and hula hoops, attendees were introduced to the #gorlokstrong bike-powered blender and received t-shirts or wristbands with #gorlokstrong.

Wellness Week

Overall, Wellness Week — which also featured yoga demonstrations, an open sand volleyball game, an update on employee health data, and other events and tips for wellness — spread the word about opportunities to manage and promote wellness at Webster.

The goal of Webster Wellness is to help each of us to make positive lifestyle changes that will help improve our overall health and well-being. The Webster Wellness committee encourages all in the Webster community to continue to make these changes to improve your overall health and well-being.

Keep pursuing wellness! Thank you to all who helped make the week a success.
