Jazz at Webster – Sept. 9

The Webster University Jazz Faculty presents “A Tribute to Cannonball Adderley” on Monday, Sept. 9, at 7 p.m. in the Moore Auditorium.

Performing in the ensemble will be: Debby Lennon on vocals, Keith Moyer on trumpet, Paul DeMarinis on alto saxophone, Steve Schenkel on guitar, Kim Portnoy on piano, Willem von Hombracht on bass and Kevin Gianino on drums.

The repertoire includes: “Never Will I Marry,” “The Old Country,” “A Sleepin’ Bee,” “Save Your Love For Me,” “Unit Seven,” “Jive Samba,” “Mercy, Mercy, Mercy” and “Sack O’ Woe.”

Admission is $5 for the general public, $3 seniors for senior adults, and free for faculty, staff and  students with valid I.D. Tickets may only be purchased at the door. The house opens one hour prior to the performance.
