The University community is invited to a memorial mass celebrating the life of former trustee Marianne Knaup, Saturday, Aug. 3, 2:30 p.m., in the Winifred Moore Auditorium in Webster Hall.
Knaup served on Webster University’s Board of Trustees from 1998-2007. She also served on the boards of the Webster University Alumni Association, the Webster University Symphony and the Daniel Webster Society.
In 1995, Knaup received the Mary Elizabeth Newell Award, the highest award bestowed on Webster University alumni. In 2010, she was presented the Daniel Webster Society Visionary Award from Webster University. She was the first person to have been honored by the University with both awards.
Visitor parking for the memorial service is available in the circular drive and along Lockwood Ave. Following the service, a reception will be held in the Edward Jones Commons in the East Academic Building. Parking for reception guests is available in Lot K directly off of Big Bend (the lot used by Webster’s Loretto Hilton Theater/The Rep/Opera Theater St. Louis).
