Webster University School of Communications alumnus Jerod Welker had his short documentary, The Kodachrome Project, accepted into The St. Louis Filmmakers Showcase. The film, based on a Webster faculty-student project celebrating the format that ushered in modern color photography, will screen on Monday, July 15, between 5 and 7 p.m. at the Tivoli Theatre along with other films in the “Documentary Shorts” category.

Learn more about the showcase at the official site.

The film will also air in an art show called “RAW Artists: Elevation” on July 19, when it will screen at 7 p.m. at the 2720 Cherokee venue. Tickets for the event, which help support projects like Welker’s, can be bought for $15 online here. Click “buy tickets” and enter Welker’s name under “The Artist You Are Supporting” to attend.
