A&S Advisory Board Challenge Success

| May 1, 2013

The College of Arts & Sciences is pleased to announce the success of its Advisory Board Challenge. The Advisory Board pledged a gift of $25,000 to be awarded if at least 525 alumni made gifts, thereby marking a big step towards one of the University’s stretch goals for 2015.

Dean David Carl Wilson stated that the goal would never have been achieved without the contributions of the faculty, dozens of whom reached out to their former students. “We’re thrilled to announce that our alumni rose to the challenge, resulting in over 525 gifts. The Advisory Board has therefore awarded us with a gift of $25,000. We could not have been successful without the faculty — because we know our alumni value their time at Webster thanks to the lasting connections they make with faculty.”
