New Delta Mu Delta Honor Society Members

Congratulations to the Webster University Kansas City campus location’s 2013 Delta Mu Delta inductees: Shalyce Adamson, Tiffany Ford, Paul Hanusch, Jason McCauley, Monchel McQuitty, Christian Mwambo, Kristin Runyan, Yolanda Wilson, Janice Woods, Michelle Beasley, Doug Hinkle and Simona Smolich.

Delta Mu Delta is the International Honor Society for business programs accredited by ACBSP at the baccalaureate, graduate and doctoral levels. The Society recognizes and encourages academic excellence of students at qualifying colleges and universities to create a DMD community that fosters the well-being of its individual members and the business community through life-time membership.

MSN Student Presentations

As required prior to graduating, two masters of science in Nursing students in the Integrated Studies (NURN 6000) class recently presented to an audience of classmates, friends, family and colleagues. Regina Davis presented Holistic Pain Management and Jennifer Fitzpatrick presented Nursing Turnover and Retention.

Additionally, Nurse Leader and Nurse Educator students displayed posters of their Practicum projects and lessons. Students’ subjects included:

  • Beth Courtney, Rounding in the ED Environment
  • Vicki Bennett, Alzheimer’s Disease
  • Jessica Brunsman, Communication with the Pediatric Patient
  • Pat Duncan, Coronary Artery Disease
  • Dee Harris, Basic Rheumatology 101
  • Kathy Taylor-Thompson, Diabetes
