Webster University’s Annual Scholarship Dinner, held Monday, April 8, 2013, in Grant Gymnasium at the home campus in Webster Groves, celebrated Webster scholarship donors and the scholarship recipients who benefit from their generosity.

Peter Sargent, dean of the Leigh Gerdine College of Fine Arts, celebrates with Webster scholars.

The dinner featured inspiring remarks from two student scholarship recipients, James Cook, Global Sustainability Studies major and Burke Family Scholar, and Phyllis Fitzpatrick, Education major and Sisters of Loretto Founders Endowed Scholar.

Elizabeth Robb, alumna and trustee, provided a donor’s perspective, reinforcing why she and her husband give back so generously to the University.

The evening entertainment featured the talents of scholarship recipients Laura Hennicke, Andrew Concepcion, Gabriel Maichel, Kevin Cheli, and, Troy Morris, led by Paul DeMarinis

The evening concluded with a performance from the Webster University Jazz Singers, led by Debby Lennon.
