RecycleMania Tournament: Final Results, Party on Quad April 15

Webster University Recycling congratulates the Webster Groves campus for its strong finish during Recyclemania’s final week, recycling 10,862 pounds of material, collecting 700 pounds of organic material and sending 13,805 pounds of waste to the landfills.

Webster’s totals for the two-months Recyclemania competition resulted in 7,520 pounds of recyclable electronics, including computers and cell phones collected by Information Technology and Facilities Operations.

The results for national competition are available on the Recyclemania page and Webster University Recycling.

In partnership with Sodexo and The Galaxy Student Radio, Webster University Recycling will host a party for students, faculty, and staff on Monday, April 15, noon – 2 p.m., on the Quad. Webster’s official Recyclemania rankings will be announced at the party, along with music, food and recycling-themed student artwork.
