Book Club Discussion ‘Radioactive: Marie & Pierre Curie’ May 6

| April 12, 2013

“Radioactive: Marie & Pierre Curie”

The next discussion of the Webster University Book Club takes on Radioactive: Marie & Pierre Curie: A Tale of Love and Fallout by Lauren Redniss.

Described as a biography in collage, the book blends the story of the Curies’ scientific work with the story of their lives and relationship through “visual echoes of Matisse, Gaugin, and Van Gogh.” (Washington Post)

Kim Kleinman, assistant director of Academic Advising and historian of science, will lead our discussion.

Everyone is welcome. Please join us on May 6 at noon in the Library Conference Room. This event is free and open to the public.
