Holden Forum on ‘StL – World Class City’ April 17

Holden Public Policy Forum

Join the Holden Public Policy Forum for the next Pizza & Politics discussion on April 17, 6 p.m., in the Emerson Library where the discussion will center on how to move St. Louis forward as a world class city.

Panelists for the evening are Bill Frisella and Charley Schmitz, co-chairs of the STL—World Class City initiative. A group of ordinary St. Louis citizens is engaged in a grass roots effort to promote St. Louis as a World Class City, and Frisella and Schmitz are leading the charge.

In their view, the St. Louis City – County Divide is the “colossal mistake of 1876.” They are leading the efforts for St. Louis County to extend its boundaries to include St. Louis City by the city’s 250th anniversary in 2014.

Join us and hear how the reunification may make St. Louis more competitive in the global economy and raise the rankings on the national playing field.

Watch Pizza & Politics live streamed over here: Forum’s Ustream channel. Listen, post your feedback, and ask your questions of the panelists.
