SPICE Chess Event: Meet Team, Learn About the Game March 27

Several members of the Webster University Chess team will play in the upcoming 2013 College Chess Final Four April 5-7 in Rockville, Md.

The Webster University Susan Polgar Institute for Chess Excellence (SPICE) invites the Webster community to learn more about chess Wednesday, March 27, 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m., in the University Center Presentation Room. Stop by and meet members of the #1-ranked Division I chess team in the nation, play a casual game and learn the rules of chess.

Susan Polgar, SPICE founder, will lead the Webster University chess team to the Final Four as the top-ranked collegiate chess team in the nation. The lineup includes six grandmasters (four starters and two reserve players):
