2012 Staff Member of the Year Karen Burch accepts the award from President Stroble.

Webster University is a great college to work for and we have many great staff members who help make it that way. Nominations are now being accepted for the annual award of Staff Member of the Year.

This award recognizes a staff member who has gone the extra mile in his/her position to make significant contributions to the University. Awards are presented at the annual Employee Recognition Breakfast in St. Louis, the Tuesday following graduation.

The 2012 winners were Karen Burch, interactive media manager, Global Marketing & Communications Office; and Julie Loyet, assistant director, Rolla Metropolitan Campus. Burch is known for her videography and photography skills, which are “second only to her upbeat attitude and extraordinatory work ethic.”
