Hofmans Named Interim Director for Geneva Campus

Provost and senior vice president Julian Z. Schuster and associate vice president and director for International Programs Grant Chapman are pleased to announce the appointment of Willem Jan Hofmans as interim director for Webster University Geneva for the 2013-14 academic year.

Hofmans is an executive coach and leadership consultant with his firm, HSFC, in Geneva. He has served as an adjunct faculty member at Webster University’s Geneva campus since 2007. In addition to teaching at Webster, Willem Jan serves as an executive coach in the high performance leadership program at IMD, Switzerland. He brings with him a wealth of multinational business experience at the executive level in Europe, the United States, and Africa.

Hofmans served on the Board of the International School of Geneva from 2002 until 2009 and is currently president of the Swiss chapter of the International Coach Federation. He is multilingual and holds degrees from Nijenrode, the Netherlands, and the University of South Carolina, U.S.A. He is currently working towards completion of a doctorate of business administration (DBA) from Grenoble Ecole de Management, France.

A search for a permanent director for Webster University Geneva will begin later this year.
