Webster University - Global Citizenship Program Collaboratory

Mark May 20-22 for the third annual GCP Collaboratory.

For the third year running, faculty and academic partners from throughout the world of Webster will gather to learn and share in the Global Citizenship Program (GCP) Collaboratory. This year’s event is scheduled for May 20, 21 and 22.

For the first time, the Collaboratory will be combined with the annual workshop for faculty teaching First Year Seminars. It will also be an occasion for further work by teams developing Global Keystone Seminars as part of the GCP.

Both outside consultants and Webster’s experts will help participants better prepare to help our students learn in and out of the classroom. Attendees can expect a mix of plenary presentations and concurrent working sessions that address practicing collaboration, expectations for new high school graduates, helping students integrate academic and real world learning, tips for teaching effective communication, treating several skills in one course, and more.

As in the past, participants should depart the Collaboratory with practical tools and approaches they can use in their teaching and other work at Webster.
