OVEE Demonstration: Social Film Screening Platform for Teaching and Learning

The School of Communication invites the Webster University community to a demonstration of OVEE, an exciting new software application and online video library, Wednesday March 20, from 3:30-4:30 p.m. in the Library Conference Room.

The Independent Television Service (ITVS) has developed OVEE for PBS stations to use for online presentations, screenings, discussions, and social media events. Webster University is the first educational institution to have access to OVEE through our partnership with Nine Network.

OVEE provides access to the entire PBS online catalog with extensive supports for comments, expert presentations, discussion, links, etc.

It requires just the latest version of Flash, and can run on mobile devices as well as laptops. To learn more, see this informative video:

All University faculty will are invited, and we hope that many people across campus will find uses for this exciting program in their classes this spring.
