Global Hybrid courses provide an exciting opportunity for students to combine learning and travel without being away from home or work long term — and they usually bring students from around the worldwide network of Webster together.

During the week of March 11-15, Webster University Orlando was thrilled to host students from the Webster London, Geneva and Vienna campuses as they visited Central Florida, along with two of their classmates from Orlando, for the Global Hybrid course BUSN-5680 “The Business of Entertainment.”

Course instructors were Ron Logan, Tony Peluso and Lou Pearsall. Students attended morning on-campus classes with afternoon visits to various local businesses, including: Whole Foods Market, Shingle Creek Hotel, Bass Pro Shop, Magic Kingdom, Epcot Center, Downtown Disney and a Cirque du Soleil show.
