The Webster University Geneva campus recently played host to two events that brought together Webster students from across Europe: the annual Football Tournament on Feb. 14, and the first “Webster’s Got Talent” European Championship on Feb. 16. Students from the European Webster campuses in Geneva, Leiden and Vienna participated and competed.

The Football Tournament included four teams from the Geneva and Vienna campuses, as Leiden and London were not able to attend the competition. The teams were cheered on by the European campus directors, academic directors and the Webster community.

Ultimately, the Geneva team claimed the trophy as the 2013 tournament winner. Click here to view more Facebook photos from the Football Tournament.

All “Webster’s Got Talent” (WGT) contestants in the European Championship were currently enrolled Webster students who won their local WGT competition in the fall. (See this previous post on how Vienna selected its finalists.)

Geneva was represented by two music contributions by Victoria Loran and Ashley Cole. From Vienna was singer and guitarist Israa Doghman, who amazed the audience with her original music. Representing Leiden were band members Danny Wong, Chloe Hall and Bas de Lint, and the winner of the competition, Helena Veum, who performed a modern dance piece.
