New Hours Announced for the IT Service Desk

New IT Service Desk hours went into effect Jan. 22.

The Service Desk is now open:

  • Monday through Thursday, 7 a.m. – 9 p.m.
  • Friday, 7 a.m. – 7 p.m.
  • Saturday & Sunday, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Hours during final exams and holidays will vary. After hours, questions may be emailed to support@webster.edu. All inquiries will receive a reply within 24 hours.

The schedule change is the result of a year-long trial conducted during the 2012 calendar year. The IT Service Desk operated under an extended schedule throughout 2012, but call volumes and demand did not support the extension. It has been discontinued in favor of a schedule that better suits Webster call patterns and support needs.
