Save the Date: Storyteller Bob Dotson on Campus April 24

| January 23, 2013

“American Story”

One of the best storytellers of our time, Bob Dotson, will speak at Webster University Wednesday, April 24, at 6:30 p.m., in the East Academic Building, Edward Jones Commons.

Dotson’s long-running series, “American Story with Bob Dotson” is a regular feature on TODAY and other NBC news programs and has won more than 100 national and international awards for writing.

For forty years, Dotson has traveled the U.S. seeking solutions from everyday people whose comments others might ignore or dismiss. His work shows how this country survives and thrives because of these ordinary people who succeed — not just on talent and hard work — but also with curiosity and imagination.

The eight-time Emmy winner will give a talk, answer questions and sign copies of his new book, American Story, a lifetime search for ordinary people doing extraordinary things. The evening promises to be moving and fascinating for everyone who yearns to feel good about America.

Dotson grew up in Webster Groves. Come join us April 24 for his St. Louis home coming.
