CRC Network Ends Busy Year

The Community Relations Coordinators’ Network ended a productive year, hosting regular conference calls and meeting in St. Louis during September’s CRC Conference.

The Network’s planning committee developed topics and agendas for the group’s calls every two months. Among the 2012 guest speakers were Faith Maddy, vice president, Development & Alumni Programs, Mindy Lewis, administrator, Office of Corporate Partnerships, and John Costello and Tom Lauher of the Global Marketing and Communications team.

The planning committee, headed by Ann Elwell, Ozarks Regional Campus location, Springfield, Mo., included CRCs from across Webster’s domestic campuses: Corless Carroll, Irvine, Calif.; Kerry Conboy, Sarasota, Fla.; Pola Firestone, Kansas City, Mo.; Alyce Herndon, Old Post Office/Downtown St Louis; Laurie Nest, Westport and Winghaven, St. Louis; Sheree Saulter, Lakeland, Fla.; Julia Smith, Fort Bliss, Texas; and Angela Young, Washington, D.C. Also serving was Fredricka Sharkey, former CRC at Little Rock, Ark.

All Are Invited

For 2013, the network decided to change to quarterly conference calls, beginning Feb. 19. Topics for the year include recruitment strategies and social media best practices.
