Recent news media coverage soliciting the expertise of Webster University faculty includes:

Scott Jensen, Webster University professor of Speech Communication Studies and director of Forensics, was interviewed Oct. 12 for a 10-minute segment on Branson, Mo., radio station KRZK 106.3 FM. On the station’s “Steve and Janet Show,” Jensen discussed the U.S. vice presidential debate with host Steve Willoughby and offered a brief preview of next Tuesday’s presidential debate.

Daniel Hellinger, Webster professor of Political Science, discussed the Venezuelan presidential elections on Al Jazeera English’s nightly “Newsroom” program Oct. 8. Separately, on Oct. 9, he discussed the results of that election on “Florida Caribe,” a morning radio program broadcast from Sarasota to the Caribbean region.

The NHL lockout means the top league in Canada’s premier sport is shut down. Webster associate professor of economics and sports business expert Patrick Rishe was interviewed to discuss hockey economics on Business News Network (BNN), Canada’s CNN.
