Dean’s Service, Student Employee Awards: Call for Nominations

Student Employee Award recipients are recognized for superior service to the department in which they work.

Nominations for the Dean’s Award for Service and the Outstanding Student Employee awards for Fall 1 2012 are due Thursday, Sept. 27. Students at all Webster campuses can now be nominated for these awards.

All recipients for both awards will be recognized for their contributions. For St. Louis area recipients, nominators are invited to attend a luncheon in honor of the students recognized and say a few words about their contributions. Students receiving awards at a campus locations outside of the St. Louis area will receive a plaque acknowledging their accomplishments.

The Dean’s Award for Service

The Dean’s Award for Service is an award given quarterly that recognizes Webster University students for performing a valuable service on or off campus. This award recognizes students’ volunteer efforts in their campus student leadership roles and in community service off-campus. Students can be nominated by any member of the Webster University community. Up to four award recipients will be selected from the Webster Groves campus and up to four award recipients will be selected from the rest of the Webster network. Outstanding Student Employee Award

The Outstanding Student Employee Award will be presented to up to four student employees per term from the Webster Groves campus and up to four award recipients will be selected from the rest of the Webster network. The purpose of this award is to recognize individuals who work at a superior level to serve the department in which they work and Webster University as a whole. In order to be eligible, students need to have been employed in the department for at least three months and maintain at least a 3.0 GPA.
