Susan Polgar, director of the Susan Polgar Institute for Chess Excellence, will represent Webster University and the global chess community in a panel discussion on education at the Blouin Creative Leadership Summit (BCLS), broadcast live Sept. 20 in New York.

The BCLS is organized in strategic partnership with the United Nations Office of Partnerships and aligned with the aims of the Millennium Development Goals.

The summit leverages this partnership to bring together private and public stakeholders within developed and developing nations in order to share best practices, knowledge, and ultimately, to forge new opportunities on a global scale.

Polgar will participate on the panel, Education – Priorities for the Next Decade, moderated by Stephen Kosslyn from Stanford University. Panelists include:

  • Adam Weinburg, president and CEO, World Learning
