New MA in Counseling Psychology Launched at Webster Vienna
Psychology’s storied history with the city of Vienna continues: Webster University has successfully launched the master of arts in Counseling Psychology at its campus in the Austrian capital. The program began in August 2012 with a group of 15 qualified participants.
The Counseling Psychology program integrates a unique blend of academic excellence and professional and practical expertise and meets the standards of high-quality master programs in Europe and the United States. Based on the leading U.S. university models, program courses will be offered by nationally and internationally recognized experts in counseling and psychotherapy.
Its contents are fully compatible with professional psychotherapy training in Austria and will allow graduates (who will already be psychologists) the option of continuing with advanced psychotherapy training in order to become licensed psychotherapists. Offered in one of the most attractive areas in psychology, the master of arts in Counseling Psychology adds to the list of Webster’s extraordinary success stories.
